The price list leaves a few things open. It does not say whether an amount is per booking or per person, so check at checkout or with the Temple Helpdesk. For the five pujas from ₹100 to ₹1,000, the portal’s own note says they require a separate ticket for Sheeghra Darshan. In plain words: darshan is not part of these pujas, and you need a separate Sheeghra Darshan ticket if you also want darshan. The portal does not print that note for Laghu or Maha Rudrabhishek.

Vaidik Puja and Shiv Mahimna options
The ₹300 Vaidik Puja is the simplest Rudrabhishek on the list. The ₹500 option, listed as Rudrabhishek Ekadashani (11 avartan), adds chanting of the Shiv Mahimna Stotra. Like every temple abhishek, both are done at places designated by SMTMC.
Rudra Patha (11 avartan)
An avartan is one full recitation. At ₹1,000, this option includes abhishek with Panchamrit and 11 recitations of the Rudram (the Namakam and Chamakam hymns). It is the highest-priced option that does not include darshan.
Laghu Rudrabhishek (121 paath)
Laghu Rudrabhishek in Ujjain costs ₹3,000 on the official list. The portal itself is unclear on one detail. The puja title says it is done “by 1 Brahmin”, while the description says 11 priests chant Rudra 121 times. The portal shows both, so check the priest count at booking or with the helpdesk.
Maha Rudrabhishek
Maha Rudrabhishek in Ujjain is the top option at ₹15,000. The listing describes continuous chanting of Rudram from the Yajurveda, with abhishek using Panchamrit and bilva leaves.
Official temple Rudrabhishek vs private pandit services
Search results for Rudrabhishek in Ujjain mix the temple’s own puja with private pandits and online puja sellers. Both exist, but they are not the same service. The temple says all its worship rituals and abhishekas are done at places chosen by SMTMC, as per tradition.

Many devotees choose Mondays (Somvar), the month of Sawan, Pradosh, Masik Shivratri and Mahashivratri for Rudrabhishek. This is a matter of devotion and family custom. The portal does not say that any day changes the puja or what it brings.
One official fact: during Shiv Navratri (Falgun Krishna Panchami to Trayodashi), the temple holds abhishek-poojan every day at Kotitirtha Kund, followed by jalabhishek and Rudrapath. On Mahashivratri, worship and abhishek go on all day, with a Mahapuja at night.
